Why the Compact Cage for the Vivaro?

The Vauxhall Vivaro shares its platform with the Renault Trafic and Nissan NV300, meaning the same compact cage specification fits all three. For fleet operators managing multiple Vivaros, the no-modification requirement is particularly valuable — cages can be installed across a fleet without any impact on vehicle condition at contract end.

Utility companies and local authorities that run Vivaro fleets often have high-value specialist equipment on board. A compact cage that bolts to existing anchor points, can be moved between vehicles when one goes in for service, and leaves no marks on return is exactly what fleet managers want.

For smaller trade businesses running one or two Vivaros, the transferability means the cage moves with the driver when the van changes — it's a one-time investment that outlasts any single vehicle.

Installation

Fitted to Your Vauxhall Vivaro in Under 30 Minutes

Compact cage installation on the Vivaro is clean and efficient. The load bay's accessible anchor points and the cage's manageable weight make for a quick, straightforward fit.

01

Open the Vivaro's Rear Doors

Open the Vauxhall Vivaro's rear doors to their full extent. The Vivaro's rear aperture is well-proportioned for the compact cage panels — they slide in cleanly without touching the door seals or paintwork.

02

Slide the Cage Sections In and Assemble

The compact cage panels are fed through the rear opening and assembled inside the Vivaro's load bay. Positioned against the bulkhead, the cage creates a secure zone at the front of the bay without obstructing the full rear loading area.

03

Bolt Down Using Factory Lashing Points

The Vivaro's factory floor lashing rails are used for the cage bolts — exactly what they're there for. No drilling into the floor required. For fleet vehicles, this keeps the van in factory condition and makes the cage straightforwardly removable when required.

04

Fit the Side Door Panel

The side panel is secured into the Vivaro's sliding door frame without any drilling. It prevents access to the cage interior via the side door and is a quick, clean fit that takes only a few minutes to complete.

05

Check, Lock, Drive

Final torque check on all bolts, lock mechanism tested. The Vivaro is ready to go. Under 30 minutes total. For fleet installations, we can work with your fleet manager to schedule multiple vehicles efficiently.
