The Movano's large load capacity is ideal for trades and small haulage — but a big load bay means more to lose. Our mid cage fills the security gap without leaving a single mark on the van.
The Vauxhall Movano is mechanically identical to the Renault Master — same platform, same load bay dimensions, same anchor point layout. The mid cage is the right call for both. The L2 and L3 Movano's deep load bay needs 2,500mm of coverage to provide a meaningful security barrier from bulkhead to cage door.
Tradespeople using the Movano for tools and materials, and small haulage operators carrying valuable cargo, both benefit from having a locked steel cage zone. It doesn't slow down loading and unloading — the rear section of the bay remains fully accessible, while the bulkhead zone is secured.
The cage bolts out cleanly if you ever need to carry an oversized load, and it re-installs in under 30 minutes. That flexibility is something fixed bulkheads or racking systems can't match.
The Movano's tall load bay and accessible floor points make installation efficient. Two fitters working together complete the mid cage well within the 30-minute mark.
The Movano's large twin rear doors open wide to give excellent access. With the high roof variant's generous internal height, there's plenty of working room for both fitters throughout the installation.
Cage sections are slid in through the rear aperture and assembled in place. The Movano's flat, clean load floor makes positioning and squaring up the cage against the bulkhead a quick, straightforward task.
Factory lashing points in the Movano's floor are used directly. No drilling — the cage bolts are threaded into these existing anchor points. The load bay floor is left completely unmarked and in factory condition.
The sliding door panel is fitted into the Movano's side door aperture frame. It's a secure fit that requires no drilling and completes the security coverage by sealing off side access to the bulkhead zone.
All cage bolts confirmed tight, lock tested, side panel secure. The Movano rolls away with full security in place. Under 30 minutes from start to finish, no modifications to the van, no evidence of any work done.
