The Expert is gaining serious ground in the compact van market. Our compact cage is built for the PSA/Stellantis platform that underpins the Expert, Citroën Dispatch, and Toyota Proace — bolt-in security, zero drilling.
The Peugeot Expert sits on the PSA/Stellantis platform shared with the Citroën Dispatch and Toyota Proace. All three vans share the same fundamental load bay dimensions and anchor point layout, so the same compact cage covers all of them. If you run a mixed fleet or switch brands, the cage transfers directly.
The Expert's growing popularity with a range of trades reflects its well-balanced load bay — practical capacity without the bulk of a large van. The compact cage fits the Expert's proportions without eating into that usable space. The 1,800mm cage length secures the bulkhead zone while leaving the rear half of the bay fully accessible for everyday loading.
Both L1 (short) and L2 (long) wheelbase Experts are covered by the same specification. Call us if you want to double-check before ordering.
The Expert's clean load bay layout and accessible anchor points make for a smooth installation. A solo fitter handles the compact cage with ease.
Open the Peugeot Expert's rear doors fully to access the load bay. The Expert's rear opening is well-proportioned for sliding the compact cage panels in without any awkward manoeuvring or risk to the door seals.
Compact cage sections are fed through the rear and assembled inside the Expert. Positioned against the front bulkhead, the cage sits neatly within the load zone closest to the cab — the loading area at the rear remains open and unobstructed.
The Peugeot Expert has factory load lashing points built into the floor. These receive the cage bolts directly — no drilling, no adhesive, no permanent changes. The load bay floor is left in exactly the condition it was in before the cage arrived.
The side panel is fitted into the Expert's sliding door aperture frame without drilling. It closes off lateral access to the cage and is a secure, tidy fit that doesn't interfere with normal use of the sliding door.
Final bolt check, lock confirmed working, side panel secure. The Expert is ready for work with tools locked down in the cage. Under 30 minutes total — and the van looks completely standard from the outside.
Specified for the Peugeot Expert L1 and L2 load bays. All-steel with a durable powder-coat finish.
