A premium van deserves premium tool protection. Our mid cage fits the Sprinter's load bay without a single drill hole — critical for anyone on a lease or contract hire agreement.
The Sprinter's L2 and L3 load bays are among the largest in the medium-to-large van class. The mid cage at 2,500mm length provides full depth coverage from bulkhead to cage door, giving heating engineers and specialist contractors a secure storage zone for their most valuable equipment.
Because so many Sprinters are on lease or contract hire, the zero-modification installation is not just convenient — it's essential. When the lease ends, the cage unbolts cleanly and transfers straight into your next vehicle. No damage, no penalty charges, no argument with the leasing company.
The 313 CDI, 314 CDI, and 316 CDI are all covered. If you're unsure about your exact variant, just call us and we'll confirm fitment before booking.
The Sprinter's load bay is well-designed for an efficient installation. Wide rear doors and accessible anchor points mean our fitters work quickly and cleanly.
Open the Sprinter's twin rear doors fully — ideally to 270° if the van is away from a wall. The wide rear aperture of the Sprinter makes it easy to slide cage sections straight in without any awkward angling.
Panels are fed through the rear opening and assembled inside. The mid cage sits against the Sprinter's steel bulkhead — the cage is sized so it leaves the rear section clear, meaning you can still carry longer items alongside the secured zone.
The Sprinter has lashing rings and anchor points built into the floor from the factory. These are exactly what the cage bolts to — no drilling required at any stage. The floor remains completely unmodified.
The side panel is fitted into the Sprinter's sliding door aperture. It sits in the door frame without drilling and closes the gap that would otherwise allow access to the cab-side of the cage. A quick and clean fit.
Bolts are checked, the cage lock is tested, and you're good to go. The whole process takes under 30 minutes. The Sprinter leaves looking exactly as it arrived — no marks, no damage, no evidence of any modification.
Designed to suit the Sprinter L2 and L3 load bays. Robust steel construction with powder-coat finish.
